Some of the most common phone apps are social media apps such as Facebook mobile app.They have changed the way people communicate, share information and market products. It has become a way of life. Applications too can be used to manage the farm. The apps enable a farmer to process information and provide invaluable information about market activities.Some of the farming apps include:

Also assists a researcher with data collection and management, data tracking and provides mobile and phone analytics.
 Farmer Connect- It enables a farmer to improve yield. It also helps in strengthening agricultural markets by providing advice and information.
 Agro-advisor.- Developed by RMSI Pvt. Ltd. It provides information on climate and best agronomic practices. It aims to inform farmers on how to increase productivity, manage weather Induced Risks and improve Food Security. It has been availed by KALRO, Kenya
E-soko- It has a series of applications and avails useful information on Agriculture value chain.It provides a connection between businesses, NGOs and governments to farmer.
